Just in time for the NY Sheep and Wool Festival

Here is my latest pattern design for a shrug (or is it a vest or a shoulder cozy?).
The name may just be a hint:" Knot Your Average Shrug".
You can buy the pattern now just before the Sheep and Wool Festival.

You may want to get the pattern and then choose the yarn this weekend while attending the Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool Festival. You may even want to get a closer look at the prototype displayed at A.L. Stickle in Rhinebeck and get the yarn there.

The pattern gives you clear and detailed step by step instructions
and is available for download here (just click on the link) and on ravelry

This pattern is available for $ 5.00 USD.   Buy Now

Chemo Blankets

Here are some follow -up photos of the Chemo blankets which were knitted by different people in our Red Hook community.  This was organized by the local Library Knitting Group in honor of Marie-France Dougherty who was a vital part to the group and passed away earlier this summer.  See also Tribute to a Friend.  These lap blankets show such outpouring of love and support.  Thank you to all.  I can just imagine Marie's comments about the beautiful, colorful and at times sparkly blankets.
